Rebecca Hackemann is a British/German conceptual artist, who works in a variety of media that are concerned with viewer interaction, optics, 3D, perception and the construction of private and public space. The work is exhibited both in the public realm and in traditional gallery spaces. Some work, such as the stereoscopes, can also function as hand held optical devices, or as wall hung sculptures. Hackemann has exhibited in New York, NY, San Francisco, CA, London, England and Philadelphia, PA and was born, raised and educated in Germany, England and America.
